Q:
What is the part number for the motor fan or impeller that's for sc679k 5.0 amp vacuum? I bought several types from different sources, even Sanitaire OEM and they don't work. When you put them back together it rubs on the inside. If you look at the fan on the 5.0 amp motor it's different than what is being said that fits. I believe it is thought that the fan for the 7.0 amp motor will work, but that is not true. Please let me know what you find out. I am in need of the correct fan for these vacuums. Thank you!

A:
The low fan 81092 is the fan. What happening is you are missing a small washer that goes under the fan. Commonly get melted into the bottom of the old fan.
