The fan did not fit correctly it will not turn when installed the whole bottom rubs the first fan blade that I have bought never fit I had to reinstall my old fan blade

Q:
We have a Sanitaire SC679 Type J-3. Is this fan a direct replacement for the original fan? We have bought supposed "direct replacements" on line that did not fit properly. We are trying not to make the same mistake! Can you help?

Yes it will, but it will be less airflow on the quick klen versions.
