Although this fits as advertised, be aware that the blade height is a bit smaller than the genuine Sanitaire blade for the 7 amp motor. Smaller blades means less air movement.

What is the diameter of this blade? We have had an issue in obtaining from another company the correct replacement blade, even though it was labeled as a 12988. Thank you.

The issue on 12988 isn't the diamerter, it is the height of the blade. One blade is made for the quick klen feature (Clear Bottom) The other is made for the smaller area. 12988 is the taller one, 81092 is the shorter one. Both sme diameter. Be sure the washers are installed correctly and the fiver washer replaced.

I've ordered some before that said would fit but doesn't. What it are the true dimensions? Should be 5 inch diameter and .75 in height and NOT .9 inches.

The height is the issue. If you have a Quik Klean unit you get the taller fan, if not a Quik Kleen unit you get the shorter fan. 12988 is the taller fan. Be sure to have both the washers under and above when installing.
