I'm a back office guy for our little company, don't get out in the field often. Ordered one of these for home use on the recommendation of my Operations manager. Fantastic performance - really pulls the dirt out of what I thought were freshly vacuumed carpets. Built like a tank, cord is nice and long. I am very pleased with it, and agree with my Ops manager that it's the best upright vac on the market. They have been using them for years, and I see why. Belts will be the only replacement item needed, since the bag is shake-out, and it's a snap to replace the belt. Well built, great performance, good price - what more could you want? Five Stars!

Very happy

I have been using Sanitaire for 15 years. My previous Sanitaire was inherited when it was left in the house I was living in. I used that same machine until I moved out in 2015. Didn’t have a vacuum in the apartment I am leasing until I bought this one. Still great. Works just like the old one I had. However I am disappointed that the machine is assembled in other countries with foreign parts. I would prefer domestic production.

Yes, you can. All you need is part ER-1260. This will allow you to use the F&G style bag.

I have twp SC684F and need another. But I do not want a shake out bag. I want to be able to use F/G hepa paper disposable bags. Do I have to order an extra bag to have this or can I get it on this vacuum? What would be the part number?

We do sell a red zipper bag which will work. this outer bag uses style F&G disposable vacuum bags.

Yes there are optional attachments to do stairs and floors. The suction with the attachments is very poor and we don't sell them for that reason.

We have a variety of carpet in our home. Some thick and dense. Other requiring less intensity. Also some bare flooring. Does this model have an adjustment to compensate for such differences?

this unit comes with a variable height adjustment knob. This will do both commercial and domestic carpets. The thicker, the higher you want to be.

The vacuum weighs 16 lbs and comes with a one year warranty. Shipment go from 24-72 hours out the door. Service centers are located all over the country and we also can service your unit.

The belt is stretched out. New belt. Ir broken armature or pulley shaft.

the spring on the top needs to be lifted and removed from the cord hook. Then the latch on the bottom needs to be unlatched.
