I am still using my previously purchased Sanitaire SC888K which I have been using for 5 years now. It has vacuumed up even cat liter a number of times which is hard on a vacuum cleaner, this one still works well though a bit degraded from it. It's durable, a work horse, lasts a long time. That is why I am bought another. It also has a longer cord for large rooms and house and the power cord is a molded heavy duty insulated type.

Q: can the sc888 use a disposal bag ?

A: It is setup to use disposable bags when you purchase it. I will use style ST bags.
